Is it possible for a guy to still be lusting after a girl for about 1 year inspite of her saying No to sex.. My question is do guys really have the patients to stick around 4 that long?

No. Unless he is super-goodrespective and accepts her making him wait longer, for most guys the limit is about two-three weeks if dating has started, and about one week if she is non-committal and says she'll get back to him on whether to go out or not. The super-good/respective guy might wait about two-three months but that's it.
