Not the front grill or fenders, they slope the wrong way, unless you use the whole front clip, then there are no problems

Yes parts will fit from an 86 to a 88 mustang. The quarter windows are interchangeable, so are the doors. The styles are different but the parts measure out to be the same. You can put a front clip from an 86 on to a 88. If you want to get technical you can put a front clip on a 90 form a 95 mustang. You will have to modify the doors to let the fenders fit but it can be done.

Unless you can see it in writing, I'd be careful. I took my 88 Ford Aerostar Van in for shocks and they (Pep Boys) didn't have 88 in stock, but had 1989 shocks. Both me and Pep Boys thought that they would fit because the body style looked the same to both of us. They were off just a 1/4 of an inch.
So, don't let anyone tell you they will fit and you go ahead and buy them. Try them first, then buy them.

certain parts interchange, SOME DON'T! the noses, mouldings, 1/4 windows, bumpers, dash, and interior 1/4 panels are different but will interchange. if you put in the 1/4 window you have to use the same style door moulding along the top. if you change the nose you also have to change the bumper and mouldings

What parts are you talking about. Most are. To be sure I call my local wrecking yard they do it all day long and have access to the interchange data base. You could call your Ford dealer parts dept as well. Most will help you out if you just ask.

a real guy doesn`t ought to have a flashy vehicle, a pocket crammed with funds, or a fancy handle, all he desires is to know a woman`s needs and desires. women aren`t stupid.
