Does anyone know the appro. value of a remington model six?
i have a remington model six pump action 30-06. it is just like the 7600 but it has a higher grade stock, shiny blue finish and in front of the mag well it has the 30-06 bottom end of the shell embeded into the reciever. i do know that it was made between 81 and 87 but i have not found the value as of yet.

Regular model:
Perf= 395 Exc= 350 VGood= 300
D Peerless Grade:
Perf= 1995 Exc= 1795 VGood= 1095
F Premier Grade:
Perf= 4195 Exc= 3795 VGood= 2695
F Premier Gold Grade:
Perf= 6495 Exc= 5195 VGood= 3995

I'm not familiar with the M-6, but I do know Remington's letter grades go A-Z, plain-to-fancy. So a D grade was actually a lower grade than an F, etc..

Usually, the higher letter and Premier and Gold grades have decorative engraving and even gold inlaying on the receiver. I don't exactly know what the M-6's options were, but I'm pretty sure if its void of any scroll-work or engraving it would be a Regular model or a D grade at most.
