use a bond/ glue remover they sell these products beauty supply stores or go the salon for removal and a treatment afterwards.

to use the bond remover just put some on the glue sit for 5 minutes with shower cap and it glue should come right out

For starters don't ever do that again.
Your friend is right, try lubricants and a lot of picking. Also peanut butter will get out gum try that.
Stick with your own hair for now on. There is so many chemicals out their to help you make your hair better than what you are born with that you do not need to glue extentions in. Also gluing is the cheap way, most good salons will braid them in. but I don't recomend that either, just grow your own hair and learn to deal with it. I had to because my hair is frizzy underneath, but I found a straightening product for my hair and it works great without drying it out breaking it off, I finally have nice hair and it it down to my butt.
