I need help with my limewire!!!!!!!!!?

My limewire worked before but then I installed a new Mcafee program, which are computer tools Example- pop-up blocker, spam blocker, etc., and now my limewire says that it cant connect to the web! The green bars on the bottom left corner are all red and a box pops up every now and then saying it cant connect to the web because of the internet or MY FIREWALL!! i think that the firewall is the problem because before i installed the computer tools my limewire worked PERFECTLY!!! How do I fix this?? Please help!!

go into the tools or options sections of your new mcafee software and disable the firewall. If that doesn't work get rid of mcafee and use AVG Antispyware it works great and doesn't interfere with most internet programs also check and make sure that mcaffee didn't turn on your windows firewall

in case u ever need it dont mess with your firewall its probly just doin its job since limewire is illegle if you still want to use limewire avg plus firewall has a firewall that dosnt upset programs unless told although there might be a pop-up to tell u the risk

atlest thats my old version but the new one will cost u $50
or you can get avg free without a firewall but it has almost all the stuff macafree has and more because ive had them and kept avg
either way you have to remove macafre before installing avg

get into your mcafee program and set your firewall preferences..

allow access to the internet for limewire

you have ports being rejected for use by your firewall. You can try to get into the McAfee firewall and open that port.

That because Mcafee is blocking it, it probably thinks that limewire is spyware.
