Rachael is great but overexposed. Enjoyed her show a lot until Oprah "discovered" her and put her on an hour long thing. (Like Oprah watches the Food Network. Maybe during her Tread Master time???)
Have any of you noticed that it's pretty tough to make some of those recipes in thirty minutes? No kitchen assistants to help us out!

I keep hearing that she's some kind of sex symbol which confuses me... I mean, she's pretty and all, but she's not the most attractive woman on TV.
I have to admit the first time I saw her show she annoyed the heck out of me. She just seemed to be trying so darn hard to be cool... I didn't watch her show for years. Then, recently, I saw her show while at the gym. (Some joker decided to put the Food Network on in front of the treadmills, lol.) The recipes she was doing were actually appealing, and her demeanor was more confident. Since then I've checked out her website and her magazine, and have to admit that I've found some things that I've really enjoyed.
So, long story short, yeah, I guess I do... still, I flinch every time she says "Yum-o"...but I suppose when I have my own show, website, magazine, and following I can make fun.

Rachel Ray is the current darling of the television crowd, mostly on the Food Network. I used to enjoy watching her, but like so many other folks, she has gotten old!!!! Too much exposure will create watcher burnout! They need to cut her back to one or two programs for a while, let her sell her cookbooks, and then put her in a feature film featuring Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, Ina Garten and Paula Deen about a restaurant!

I have this love/hate thing with her. I find her highly annoying, and the meals can't be done in 30 minutes, and she doesn't tip well in the $40 a day thing.
However, after reading her bio and finding out that she never went to culinary school and started on a public access show, she certainly has earned her star as it were.
So I still watch her, and make fun of her. But sometimes I use her ideas.

I like Rachael in small doses. I just don't understand why she always says EVOO and then says extra virgin olive oil after that. It is not much of an abbreviation if you say both almost every time.

I love her, Her 30 minute meals are great, and especially when we are always on the run, they really come in handy. Food Network had the bios of some of the cooks, last week on TV and hers was really great. Her show on 40 dollars a day is another good one. She's so down to earth.

I used to think she was an irritating girl who was stuck on her own supposed greatness, until she was on the Iron Chef. She had to be the helper to Mario Battali, and she was so down to earth, and laughing at herself . She said for all the world to hear that she is nowhere near being a chef, she is just someone who likes to cook, she said "I think I am just a cooker, nothing more."
I like her 40 Dollars a Day show the best.
But it is REALLY good to watch with the sound OFF. ;)

She is incredibly IRRITATING!!!!! EVOO, How cool is that? She also came down here to Puerto Rico on her $40.00/day show and made a real *** of herself with her diva attitude. I got this info from people in the food and beverage industry here who had the misfortune of having to deal with her. Rachel Ray Sucks!

I used to watch her but like so many people I got burned out by her "EVOO", "How good does THAT look?", "Yum-o", and "Groovy".
Besides that she is a hack. I don't think she is a very good cook at all. She has personality but that wears out quickly by her overbearing bubbly personality. How can her husband stand her?
I prefer real chefs such as Mario Batali. For entertainment and really good food I like Tyler Florence.
