The ones I have are "garden rich" potatoes..im not slicing them up cause i wanna bake them, so how would i know if they're gone bad? I've had em for about a month now...how long do they usually last? thanks in advance

When they have sprouts growing from the 'eyes', and/or are soft in spots.

When they get rebellious, stay out all night smoking, drinking, begin doing drugs and hanging out with the wrong crowd. These are some of the first signs that your potato (without an "e" on the end) is going bad.

When it wrinkles, and gets soft. Don't let the eyes fool you, they are still good with the eyes on them.

when they get soft and wrinkly if you keep them much longer after that they will begin to smell really really bad bbbbllllllaaaaagggghhhh.

when it starts to turn green sprouts shoots and begins to shrivel up and smell
