i dont believe god is.. i dont think god is anything close to human...
i mean look at us.. some of us can be just awful disgraces to the human race...
i dont think god is associated with that in anyway.. i think god doesnt have emotions or a physical body like we do.

I don't - humans are in the image of God...
and I don't happen to take that too literally either; people come in all kinds of different shapes and sizes, so as I don't believe any ethnicity is any clearer a reflection than another, (same goes for gender, height, weight, etc) I think it's more a metaphor for how humans are the species with most active control over what happens around us

Man is in the image of God (not vice-versa)
When mankind designs their own gods, THEN they are 'god in the image of man' and are therefore False gods.
The Bible does feed the Truth. It is 100% the infallible Word of God, the Living Word, the Holy Spirit speaks through the Words of the Bible.
If man does not know the True God (the One Who is the Creator of the Universe), then man 'makes' up his god(s) because man instinctively knows that he is not alone, that he has to answer to someone! and this world did not come about by mere accident; it took some intelligent planning & design.

Yea, I don't think that makes sense, because if humans are in the image of god - then which humans are we talking about? Whites, black, yellow, women, men? Children? And we are talking about visuals here, so that implies that there is a visual image of god in existance. Where might this image be? In the clouds? In a cave somewhere? So many questions huh.

The bible doesnt say God is in the image of humans, it says man was created in the image of God. This simply suggests that we are created with the same aspirations and desires, but of course the difference in man and God is that God resists temptation and remains sinless, man on the other hand...

Pretend u are a christian to understand this: (keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times please)
Satan hates us right? Why would he hate us? If we were truly made in the image of God then there is your answer, He wanted to be God, but could not, he cannout harm God so he takes it out on us, beause everytime he sees us we remind him of God....
It is what i think, there is nothing to back it up but it is what i believe....

I don't. I have always interpreted the fact that we are created in His image to mean His spiritual image. Some faiths, such as the LDS, believe it to be literal.

I am a lemming. I believe in myth and whatever the christian extremists tell me to. I vote republikan..it's so much easier living if one doesn't have to think for themselves...also nice to have a built in excuse when I do something wrong or things just don't work out....the devil made me do it..god made me do it, I'll pray about it,,my prayers weren"t answered...on an on...
