that is an allergic reaction to the colour. doing a few conditioning treatments with a moisturizing conditioner, leaving it on for at least 30 mins each time, this will help to take away some of the itciness, but it is quite possible that if the reaction is really bad, for example, accompanied by a rash, you may need to see a dr and get a prescription for it.

Did you try Neutrogena T-gel shampoo? Also, look in the hair cair for women of color section of your local grocery market. Look for something organic. You may be wearing a hat or a scarf for a couple days, because the oils can be a big heavy for us white chicks-but the remedies work.

first of all... are you making sure your hair is oily before you get it colored? THIS IS A MUST! If you do that already.......make sure you wash it an extra time right after coloring. then last but not least. you can add sweet and low to the dye. guaranteed to work or your money back.....oh that's right you didn't pay me. ha ha

Use a conditioner for colored hair and massage it and leave it in for a few minutes. You may need to take an antihistamine.
