okay my brother was like the size i am now. and he just stoppped eating like he would go all week w.out eating and eat like once or twice on the weekends. and he lost sooo much weight. if i do this will i lose weight to? i really hate my body

Agreeing with everyone else....Yes, you will lose weight. However you will gain it all back and then some once you start eating again. Not to mention the lack of nutrition is very very unhealthy for you. The best way to do it watch what you eat (it's all about calories and portion control), and EXERCISE. Sorry folks, to lose weight, you gotta exercise.

If you need help, try looking at Weight Watchers. Everyone I know that has joined, has lost a lot of weight the healthy way.

Hunny, it may be making your brother lose weight but the way you're going to look best is by diet and exercise, cut down the calories but do not stop eating, you may hate your body, but you don't want to cause serious damage to it. Besides if all you do is not eat you will end up with flabby skin which is not pretty. I suggest core exercises like crunches, i saw results within weeks and it really made me feel better about how i looked.

Just be smart okay? Losing some fat isn't worth really hurting yourself

Sure, you'll lose weight until you reach your limit - and once you start eating again, you will gain all (plus some) back.

Not to mention, its very dangerous - especially the yo-yo diet part. Do yourself a favor in the long run, and be smart about the way you diet. If you need tips let me know.

You will initially lose weight, and then gain back a heck of a lot more than you already lost. Plus, it will take you longer and your metabolism will slow down so your body has energy. It's a terrible idea. If you reduce your calorie intake, and exercise more often, you will kick-start your metabolsim and lose a lot more weight than you ever would starving yourself. Bad idea. You will be robbing your bady of important nutrients. Also a lot of people gain weight when they do this. If your body begins to think its not receiving enough food it will save more of the food as fat. This is a survival technique that worked really well when we were cavemen and didnt know when the next meal was gonna come.

yes u will lose weight. but that is not a healthy way to lose weight that is called mal nutrition. just keep the sugar out of your diet. eat carbs early in the day. no refined foods. ( white rice, flour etc..) to make it simple if you cant grow it or raise it dont eat it
