Well, they live in a corrupt system. They come here for a better life, but the problem is they bring their culture with them, that didn't work in their country, let alone ours. Thus, a lot of them do not become successful

I'm sure many do. It's not that easy, look at how "well" it's going for people that want to "fix things" in the states and multiply that apathy and corruption by about 10,000 and you have Mexico.
I can only give you the stories of the 2 "illegal aliens" I know the best, one "ran way" when she was too young to walk or talk, the other "ran away" to help her Sister(a U.S. CITIZEN) and her Sister's 4 little children.
I don't think anyone particularly represents any Country, they just want to do what is best for their life. It does bother me when some protest for fair treatment then wave the Mexican flag, but I think that's far fewer people than Y!A would have you believe. Besides, it's about how we treat each other as HUMAN BEINGS, not what flag we wave.

Sure the Mexicans have tried and are currently trying. If you are interested in reading up on what the currently situation is in Oaxaca it is pretty interesting. As you have read many times before in this site. The US is made of multiple nationalities, starting from the English, Spanish, Irish etc… For those who are just now arriving in this country of course they are proud of there heritage which is why they display their flags. Just to make a note that not only Mexicans are displaying flags, I’m sure in you area you celebrate St. Patrick's day for the Irish, Kasmir Pulaski for the Polish, and so on, and for each celebration the appropriate flag is out and on display to pay respect.

I know there are alot of mexicans who take advantage of the government and never actually progress because they didn't come here to work hard. They just crossed the border to escape their problems in Mexico. It is very sad to see that many families are barely getting by, but its actually GOOD ENOUGH for them, they don't feel the need to progress for the good of their children. They just teach their children to live off the government and that living from day to day is okay. Thats when its wrong. I know alot of people that live like this and to be honest, they might as well go back to Mexico if they have no plans of improvement.
My parents crossed the river about 25 years ago, yes illegally. However, they DID become citizens soon after. They worked in the fields for years until they found better jobs and now they have their own businesses. They truly set a good example because I never saw them accept welfare or unemployment from the government, it was simply out of the question. They felt they had to be role models for my siblings and I. They were only thinking of what would be good for us, and they just didn't see a future in Mexico. Sadly, Mexico is way too corrupt to fix anytime soon. I'm proud of my Mexican heritage but there is no way I can imagine living in Mexico, just not possible. I do feel proud when I see a Mexican flag, but only because it reminds me of where we came from and how our lives have improved so much since then. My siblings and I have followed my parents footsteps and have been model citizens because you can't expect to be treated like an American if you're not willing to do your part.

No, why would they stay there when America offers them so much free stuff they can take advantage of. Despite what people may think, Mexico is not a 3rd world country. Infact, it's the richest of all Latin countries in the Americas. Still, they live a 3rd world lifestyle. It shows in the cities and towns they populate. They claim they want a better life, yet all they do is turn the areas they populate into ghettos and slums. They do not want to improve, but simply live the same with absolutely no responsibility of working or paying bills. The ones that do work are a select few... they can claim they are so hard working and people can back them up by saying they come here to work, but I've witnessed different. I call it how I see it, and I'm not the only American making that call.
About the flag, I can't find the logic in that either.

I never yet understood why anyone trying to become part of America tries to make their point come across with the flag of another nation. Are they really saying we love Mexico but we cannot have the kind of life we want in Mexico therefore we will just invent the kind of Mexico we want in America and it's too bad just deal with it ,we are here, we are staying, you will adapt to us ,rather than we will adapt to you and there is nothing you can do about it.To that guy we are nation of immigrants, you keep trying to go back 300 years or so to make your point, every country in the human race is a nation of immigrants, the immigrants you talk about they are not here, they are gone , America is now composed of people born in America, you keep going back 300 years, using ifs and but's, that's the hardship of it that era is over, the events have already taken place. You cannot go back in time and change events that have already taken place so they are more suitable to what you want the world to be like now. It's over. The country is what it is regardless of what you think or what you want to believe, you can keep banging you're head against the wall all you want but you will not undo history

HALF TRUTH: illegals eventually become assimilated Americans.
TRUTH: Many do. But Most third world illegals come to the U.S. for personal economic reasons. Most do not come to cherish our democratic system. Many so called "immigration rights" groups "fan the fire" with their rhetoric which encourages immigrants to preserve their culture and language at tax payers expense. Among some of these groups, the word "assimilation" is considered xenophobic. When ultimately illegal immigrants and/or their children do become voting citizens, many vote in blocks (Mexican-American, El Salvadoran-American, Guatemalan-American, etc.), not for the good of America, but for personal economic gain usually at the expense of another group. You could transpose this question to almost any subcultural group and get the same answers. People bring their religious beliefs, culture and 'family values' with them. For example, large families of ten or more is not an uncommon happening. With the shortages of housing, schools, medical etc., the same nasty conditions keep on happening. When our government will pay people to go to school, and the men of the household will forbid a woman to attend, as does happen, these people keep on perpetuating their problems. Eventually, given their prolific birthrates, we will all factor out to the lowest common denominator. Of course, it is one way to keep a supply of people for the maw of the military. Best wishes

Have 16th century Europeans ever tried to fix their own countrie(s) or did they just run away?
Another question..why did they still raise crosses and build churches on a non-Christian land? I mean, c'mon! You flee for a better life but you still represent the countrie(s) you made so horrible? lol

Are all your questions this racist?. Seriously you need help. Have you ever been to Mexico and actually know the situation that those people are in. Is not called ruining away is called BEEN HUNGRY. If you knew there was something better for your children across some border wouldn't you cross it? You should really know the situation that this people are in before you stereotype them. You sound like you have no heart. All your questions are against Mexicans? Are this people taking food from your plate or taking money from your wallet? Seriously why do you hate them so much?

Mexicans are cowards!! How can they fix their own country when they are too afraid to?
If I'm wrong, why hasn't it happened? And when will it?
And no, I do like Mexicans (just dont like the ones who are all for their illegal homies); my best friend and several girlfriends just happen to be so. So, don't give me any bull crap!
