I was raised Catholic and my boyfriend is Nazarene. What are the main differences between the two religions, aside from the obvious kneel/sit/stand? Please be specific and identify a source. Thank you!

My boyfriend is not well educated about the Catholic religion. I would like to be able to understand the religious beliefs from a general perspective vs his perspective first.

Pastor Billy says: Nazarenes are similar to Methodists I highly suggest you listen to the story of Doug Gonzales who convert to Catholicism. He was a Nazarene minister.
As I don't know you or your boyfriend from Adam I suggest you engage your boyfriend on his perception of Catholicism. Many Protestants have a very poor understanding of Catholicism to the point where they are led to believe we are not Christian. In some cases they are deliberately led to believe this by zealous bigotted preacher types who feed on anti-catholic preaching to maintain a following.
Here is the link that I think will greatly help you. download the audio file and listen.

From a Nazarene Website:
Agreed Statement of Belief
These are the beliefs Nazarenes hold to be true:
We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
I know that many in the Catholic church now accept that Revelations was about the Roman Empire, and the Jesus isn't REALLY comming back.

Hello. There is only one family of God. (John 14:6) - "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.'" Once we confess Jesus as our Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, then we are saved from the death penalty of our sins and adopted into the family of the Almighty God and King (Romans 10:9-13). (Galatians 4:6) - "And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, 'Abba, Father'!" I am saying this to let you know that "religion" and "practices" are not what's essential to salvation but, being one with God through Jesus Christ is what's essential to everlasting life. If any "religion" doesn't truly follow those principles, then it is not following God. God bless you in Jesus' name. Amen and praise the Lord!

Why don't you just ask him?
EDIT: Well, you wouldn't be asking him about Catholicism. You'd be asking him about his faith. You're the one that knows about your faith. Then you compare. Voila.
