My sister treats me like I'm 5 because she is a lot older than me. She loves talking about how i'm a "little kid" it gets on my nerves, it's not that I think I'm old or want to be 33 years old yet, Its just I'm a teenager! NOT A KINDERGARTENER!

Talk to her as an adult not like a whiny teenager. Ask her if she has a few minutes because there is something you would like to discuss with her. If you like, ask one or both of your parents to act as a witness.

Tell you sister calmly and in an adult manner that her addressing you as a child is unacceptable to you. Ask her if there is anything you can do to help her comprehend the difference between a toddler and a teenager? Don't say it snotty or disrespectfully. The closer you can conduct yourself as an adult without yelling or whining will impress her more than your words.

If she sneers, jeers, or laughs, maintain your composure at all costs and gaze at her as if she is a two-headed orangutan, but don't say a word until she shuts up. Then calmly repeat your request and ask her if she needs help understanding your statement. Repeat this as often as necessary.

By your acting as an adult, you put her on the defensive and make her look like the child.

Good luck.

Everytime she talks to you like your a kindergardener freak her out by talking about how your new boyfriend is super hot and like 23. Just because not only will it shock her, but she has to realize at the same time that your not a little kid and that continuing to treat you like one would be a mistake.

Not only that it was really fun to see my twenty-six year old brothers face when I said that to him. He is nine years older than me. I made my point after he had a melt down and my sister-in-law laughed until she cried.

Set a good example for your sister to follow. Carry yourself with pride and act like a decent person of poise and purpose. If you act responsibly and she still calls you a kid then you know she is wrong. Chances are, if she continues to pick on you, she is the one that is acting like a kid. Don't let her get to you. Hold your head up and know that you are a mature individual. Good Luck!

Tell her you want crayons, water paints, pencils, all the things that a kindergartener would use. Whine unmercifully and drive her nuts. Tell her to be careful what she accuses you of, you CAN make that happen.
