I'm betting you have a profile set up on The Witches Voice, to talk to like minded people. I know I do!

You are probably younger than 50. I would say somewhere between 13 and 30. You follow a polytheistic, nature based religion founded in the 1950s by British witch Gerald Gardner. You accept the Wiccan rede, "An ye harm none, do what thou wilt", probably without giving it much thought or realizing it was borrowed from Aleister Crowley's version of the Thelema magickal/philosophical system. You may or may not know that Aleister Crowley created the spelling magick for numerological reasons and to differentiate it from stage conjuring. You probably take you understanding of Wicca from the Internet and books sold in places like Borders or Barnes and Noble because you don't seem to know that Gardner's first law of Wicca (of which there are many) was similar to the first law of Fight Club: Wiccans don't talk about Wicca.

I doubt you were raised Wiccan, most Wiccans weren't but probably have a background in Protestant Christianity. You probably began with Wicca as a rebellion against that upbringing. You probably live in the United States. And although Wicca was intended as a lineage tradition, you probably practice a solitary version because there aren't many Wiccans where you live. You're probably an eclectic Wiccan because so many gods are "cool". How'd I do?

If you are indeed a true wiccan, then that means you believe in the harm none, do what thou wilt creed. You believe that everything exists to provide balance. Elements are of major importance to connect with the world around you. Christian belief and wiccan beliefs are not all that dissimilar. Both believe that a final battle between good and evil will take place although the name for the battle is different. The defining difference between pagan belief and Christian belief is Jesus Christ. Most wiccans believe Christ was simply a martyr (spelling), a prophet, and nothing more. They do not believe Christ was the Son of God. They generally do not believe He was resurrected in body and spirit but was reincarnated. Wicanns generally believe your soul is reincarnated until you have learned everything you are supposed to learn. They believe in a higher power but not of God as Christians do. Mother earth and father time are their gods. Wiccans have many "deitys" and by that I simply mean spirits making it polytheistic to which they focus all their energies. Wiccans also generally believe that the ability to connect with the unseen world lies within combonations of incense, oils, stones, gems, words, times of the year, month, and day, as well as the seasons. Christians believe, generally, this is possible also but feel that God is the only thing they need to connect to that world.......There is a lot more to it than just what is mentioned here, though....

you r probably a fairly new wiccan since u talk bout it & nothing else on your profile (yeah...I cheated) but I also think that u r one of the good ones (meaning someone who is actually dedicated & not just cuz its "cool"). Believe me, I'm embarassed by the things I said to anyone who would listen when I was your age. I'm still a Witch (I prefer this tittle to Wiccan, but that's just my preferance).

Most wiccan's are Solitary, that is what I am, so I would guess that is your path. You seem to have a strong moon side to you. Most males are more drawn to the sun so I would geuss you are gay or bi. I have no rel feeling about your sign. I,m in my Cronage but I think you are much younger than I. May the goddess smile at you Bless Be

Just your name and the religion you self-identify with, Wicca.

But a quick guess would be that you are polytheistic, respect and revere nature, and celebrate the 8 Sabbats and 13 yearly Esbats.

*Going to your profile now out of curiosity...*

Wiccans generally are supposed to follow a rede, "An as it harm none, do as you will", have respect for the earth and for those who live on it. You, I know nothing about.

Lets see....if you weren't born a Wiccan, I would say that for whatever reason, Christianity did not make sense to you, or it simply didn't speak to your heart, so you went looking for the faith that was right for you and you believe you found it within Wicca.

I know you are a wiccan. I know that you post on Yahoo Answers. Anything beyond that would be an assumption.
