High sugar content, especially sticky ones like gummy bears or laffy taffy. They stay on your teeth for a longer period of time. Proteins do help to counteract their effect somewhat. just brush and floss 2-3 times a day and stay away from sticky and sweet foods.

My dentist just told me last week that drinking soda ...like sipping a large drink all day long...is the worst thing you can do to your teeth. Something about it lowers the ph balance of your mouth and since you're drinking it all day long, your mouth doesn't have a chance to rebound to the normal ph.
