I know simply by brushing it won't make the hole go away. But if I brush it a lot and use mouth wash will it help it get better?

teeth , unlike the rest of the tissue in our bodies, are, unfortunately, unable to heal. Go see your dentist before it gets worse.

NO. Cavities mean that your tooth has rotted. The enamel has been damaged. The ONLY way to fix it is by visiting a dentist or dental college and having them fill it in. If you do not have the cavity filled in asap then your tooth will continue to get WORSE, no matter how much you brush and rinse. If it gets worse it may start hurting really bad and you could lose the tooth or develop a bad infection in your mouth.
For now buy ACT brand or store brand Fluoride rinse. After brushing and flossing at bedtime rinse with ACT fluoride rinse for 1 min and then do not eat or drink or even rinse. Fluoride helps strengthen enamel, prevent cavities, and prevent further damage to your teeth (especially the one with the cavity). It does not solve the problem but it can help from making it worse. Then tomorrow call a dentist or a dental college and make an appointment and let them know you need fillings for cavities.
Go to ada.org for a list of dental colleges in your state if you have plenty of time to have work done for less money than a private practice.

Very small cavities can be remineralized by your saliva. However, if it's already a noticable hole, the answer is no.

Go to your dentist as soon as you can before it gets worse and costs you more $. You also don't want it to get infected, it's always on the weekend when everything is closed that you get a toothache.

nope, you need a dentist to save that tooth but you can help ward off infection with a mixture of peroxide, baking soda and a bit of toothpaste for taste. This will help whiten your teeth as well..It worked for me.Still...go see that dentist. Infection in your teeth can lead to serious heart problems..not kidding.SEE A DENTIST
