What was the trouble with her mom? Your friend needs to realise that her mom is more experienced than she is, and everything she does is in her daughters best interest, whether she realizes this or not.

When a person has trouble with a family member, that person will lose someone more dear to her than friends. Even though your friend acts like she hates her mom and tells people that, it might not be true. I mean, sometimes, you just have to wait until that person finds out what is really true and then they would have to solve that conflict.

She needs to talk it out with her mom.
Your friend needs to let her mother know what she has done to her (even though she may know) and tell her tell vent everything out.
Even though she may tell you the things that went wrong she will never get closure until she confronts her mother about it.

well once you hate someone.. when her mom dies she is going to blame herself. and drive herself crazy. my mom is annoying but at the same time that's my mom. i have to deal with it. because that's the only person who is going to have my back in the end. sometimes i feel like pushing her off a bridge but thats my mom

tell your friend to talk to her mom so that maybe they will be able to resolve things and then your friend will stop hating her mom.
