i work with this guy at wal-mart and the first time i met him we walked past each other and he said my name (i had my name tag on), and then a few days later, he told me i was doing a good job when we were putting things away, but that was about it....i try to be close to him and work near him, and he laughs at my jokes, etc. but i'm not sure if he's just being friendly or what. he's very friendly and talkative to people. he isn't the exclusive, stuck-up type. should i read something into his behavior, or just leave it alone? i'm too shy to ask him.

If he is your type, then the next thing to find out if he is interested in you or not. If he is just a friendly guy who likes everyone in general then you might scare him away by rushing into this. However if he the shy type who is hiding his shyness by just being friendly, then it is up to you to "nudge" him along a bit. Perhaps it might even be best to find out if he is available first. The way to do this is by asking around the co-workers. In doing this you will not only find out if he is available, but you may even end up sending him indirect signals about your own interest in him. Rumor mills at workplaces work very fast. Its really amazing how quickly they bring about love in the air!

well if you like the guy then you can probably find out if he likes you if he asks you out right? But if he does that to everyone then maybe hes just being friendly.

you could try being flirty and see if he picks up... if not, hes probably just being friendly. see how it goes

i think he likes you simply because he is not a talkative someone and he relates to your reaction, so i think you should let me know how you feel before it is too late ok
