Not so Holy?

Question

I've noticed that some religious people here have been creeping into other groups and cursing people, like homosexuals.

Why?

You act so holy but some of you are CURSING other people.

Also, if you can answer this. Why is it that homosexuality is viewed as wrong? If god did create humans, than he gave homosexuals these feelings, they can't help what they were born with. So, why outcast people that are living their lives the only way that they can, if they want to be happy.

You have two questions. First, Christians are people and make mistakes. Also many people who claim Christianity are not truely Christian. If they do not act like they are Christian, do not believe they are (Bible even tells us that). So I appologize to you if you have been hurt or attacked by them.

Your second question is a bit more difficult. God did not create people to be homosexual, it is a choice most often built into a person based on thier upbringing. Statistics show that more boys with bad relationship to thier father are homosexual than any other explination. It is wrong because man was created to reproduce and men and women were created for each other. This is evident outside of a God-based world view in that the male body and female body are compliments to each other.

Your question is flawed.

God did not create people to be homosexuals. No matter how many of them say that, it's not true. God did not create people to lie, but people still lite. Cheat, steal, etc.
Homosexuality is wrong because it is a perversion of what God created. A man and a woman.

But, yes, you are correct... Christians should not go around cursing others. That is against the very core beleifs of Christianity. It's kinda like an Athiest having a prayer at church or something...

if god gave homosexuals their feelings towards the same sex then He also gave paedophiles their feelings towards children and murderers their desires to kill and rapists their desire to rape. god is no responsible for all desires man kind feels and experiences. we have free will and choice and we have accountability. the bible also says that it is not necessary for mankind to marry.it is not written that all man was meant to be in a relationship so if you can not abstain from a sinful relationship then perhaps it is better not to be in a relationship at all.WAIT..before you lump me in with people you may call intolerant or haters...I have many close friends who are gay who know my spiritual views on homosexuality. They also know that I believe it is not my right or any Christians right to judge them as sinner for we are all( all mankind) sinners. there is no perfect man...not one accept Jesus Christ. i merely answered here because you asked. In no way do I want anyone to feel judged by me. I love all mankind. I agree that some Christians have forgotten that we are not to judge anyone. that is God's job. If we should pass judgement on anyone..it should be ourselves.

first of all its adam and eve not adam and steve. second of all anyone can be gay some are just tempted more then others. one of my friends made a good point to me one time, they said that everyone has one temptation that gets to them the most, some might be murder, porn, homosexuality,dishonering parents, adultry, just depends on the person. God didn't make people gay, people make themselves gay by falling to the temptations put on us by satan! if someone wanted to they could decide not to be gay, for God and there eternal lifes sake... i actually know people who have given it up.
