If you don't actually want someone in your life there are ways to stop it and that's to say no and mean it.
People pick up on what's behind the words so if you don't mean it quit playing head games with the guy. That's stupid and immature.

Sounds like you need to stop giving mixed messages!
Also sounds like you are confused as to what you really want!
First stop - make your mind up what side of the fence to settle on.
Second step either tell him you want him back or, tell him you have really thought about it and that there is no way back.
Your present indecisiveness is not doing either of you any favours. BUT - hey - give it some serious thought first OK?

Speak your question as a difinitive sentence to the guy. Explain that loving someone isn't the entirety of a relationship, that trust and other things play into it as well and that your relationship hasn't worked so it is time to move on and let go.

just avoid.........I was married and in love, and we had a child together, but he hurt me many times, and I changed my numbers and stopped putting myself in situations where I might run into him...........it's hard and after 3 long years I am happier than I have ever been......
