To be on the safe side, sweetheart, please go to the doctor. I have had celulitis and a blood infection that hospitalized me for 8 days because I knicked my armpit and got a boil that got really infected. That nausia is not the least bit normal. Just because it doesn't look infected doesn't mean it isn't infected. Please go to the emergency room or make an emergency doc appointment TODAY. The longer you wait, the worse it will get.(If it has to be taken out, you can always try again next year to get it pierced).

First off: Don't take it out as mentioned above...if it would be infected, removing it will trap the infection!!!

Secondly: I got nausea with my professional piercing too, certain foods and beverages could be causing this. After a few days though, that should be stopping.

Thirdly: Doing it yourself, wow you're brave! I got mine done professionally and was still scared and in pain! I'd see if you are still having trouble the next couple days, then go see a doctor if it is still occurring or you see any signs of infection.

Its not a common thing to be that ill after getting a piercing. While it could be a coincidence, as a professional piercer, I suggest that you get some antibiotics from your doctor. Keep the piercing clean.

If this is the start of an infection, do not remove the jewelry. Removal of the jewelry can cause the infection to become trapped inside your body and cause more harm.

It should go away on it's own. But to be on the safe side, get it looked at by your doctor. That way if it is infected the doctor can give you something to help it heal without having to take it out permanently.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Piercings should not make you feel sick. Something is wrong. It could be coincidence or it could be caused by your piercing. Get it checked by a professional- your Dr. or the emergency room. Good Luck.

YUP! Sure, and so will the nausea, so stop worrying your butt off and go put on a super cute tube top to show it off! Remember, if you went through the pain and trouble, you can't neglect it!
