Is there free will in heaven?... yes!...Can one choose to rebel?...no. Sounds like a paradox or contradictory.

We will have glorified bodies in heaven...a type of flesh of sorts...no blood....sin is in the blood. We will not have the same propensity or capability for sin as we do on earth.

Good question

I would imagine you could. But if you were in heaven then you would know for sure that hell is not where you would want to go so therefore you wouldn't rebel. Again, I would say, yes, you probably could.

Did I win the car wash job?

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

good question
sounds like a paradox
if you could it wouldnt be perfect
if you couldnt you wouldnt have free will
interesting to see how the christians
will try to wiggle out of this one

if you think only perfect people
are allowed in heaven
then no one would be there
maybe there is no temptation to sin
because the devil isnt there
so then who tempted the devil?

to remind the christians
you dont get to heaven by being good
you get there by accepting christ

Satan was an angel, and you are not. Humans never become angels, so you cannot become one.

How do you plan to get to heaven? If you never get there, you cannot rebel there.

So I'd say no.

That sounds good. Maybe I should do everything required by customs in heaven so that I can go tell them that they have been duped. And then start a revolution right in Jesus' backyard. However, I would need your brains to improvise when things become tough! So. let's go!

What kind of a car is it?

I believe you will be as free to rebel in heaven as you are on earth.

Assuming you get to heaven by being a good Christian, I assume that if you intended to do this you wouldn't make it there.

Could you decide you disliked the way things were run once you got up there? Who's to say? Satan did.

Get the sponge and bucket, you are gonna get allot of volunteers.

The answer is No.....If you won't even have the ability to realize there are millions of people suffering in Hell, why would you have the ability to rebel?
