Dating is about getting to know a person for their heart and their other good qualities. Being in a wheelchair would not stop me from dating anyone that I found interesting.
Considering I am happily married, I will not really be dating anyone other than my husband.
Good luck with your poll. Have a good day.

Wheelchair or not it's the guy. Have you ever seen the wheel chair guys that play basket ball, they are really buff! I don't see why anyone would have a probably with someone in a chair. There are a lot of things to consider when you date anyone even if they don't have a handicap.

No way...my wife would be very angry if I started dating anyone!
But seriously, I would have no problem dating someone in a wheelchair if I were still available. I an sure that there would be challenges that are very difficult at times, but to disregard someone because of something like this on its own would be pretty short-sighted.

What I or anyone else on this forum thinks is irrelavent. The only 2 questions you should be asking YOURSELF are
1. would I date this person if they weren't in a wheelchair
2. what's the real issue here - the wheelchair or my feelings about people in wheelchairs?

Yes, but I'd probably have to know her in some other way first. I couldn't see myself just approaching a stranger in a wheelchair. But if I knew her from work or through mutual acquaintances and we seemed to hit it off, I'd date her.

Yes, if they were a nice person that I was interested in. I would date them the same I would date someone who wasn't in a wheelchair that I liked and had interest in.

I wouldn't because it would take up alot of my time and I don't have much right now. My friend did for a few years and it was not a problem for her.

yeah as long as he was sweet, senssitive, and cared 'bout me. To me it's the INSIDE that counts not looks or disabilities.
