hope not and would not think so but they may still be a few idiots out there that think it was sterlings fault if anyone feels like that they should get over it because sterling did not take dale out intentionally and definately meant him no harm also it was a good thing dale jr took up for sterling then and told these idiots to stop that nonsense it was a tragedy for all of nascar and a lot of heartache for sterling as well

That would be odd, Dale Sr. caused that wreck by trying to block Marlin. This was about the ONLY time I ever saw that from Earnhardt as he ALWAYS raced for the win or to advance his position, never as a defensive manuever. Obviously having 2 of his own cars up front contending for the Daytona 500 win influeced his actions on that final lap. I would certainly hope the people that had anything against Sterling in the beginning would have moved on with their lives.

Well I have never met a smart Earnhardt fan so I'm sure there are idiots out there sending threats. They never see him as a cheater like he was, but when he goes to block someone and gets himself killed they blame the guy that he ran into and call him a "dirty racer." If I was Marlin I'd ask those fans what Pink Floyd and Earnhardt have in common? Both of their Greatest Hits were "The Wall"

Dale had a massive heart attack. The wall just made sure he was dead. The "official" autopsy report is 3/4ths blacked out. Parts you can read state ".....ALSO RELATING TO DEATH WAS BASIL SKULL FRACTURE."
