The prior answers get it pretty much spot on: Sicilians are a mix of everything, from Greek to Norman (Viking) to Arab to Spainish.

Read a History of Sicily (and everyone who's invaded) and you'll have a complete list, more-or-less.

Ciao Bella!
Sicilians are a delightful mixture of Greek, Etruscan, roman, Spanish, Arab (moor) french, Albanian and probably some others. The jewel of the Mediterranean has been the prize for dozens of civilizations in the region, from Carthage to modern day Italy. Just look up its history in an encyclopedia or almanac- the different peoples that conquered the island have also help add to the gene pool.

TooMuch's right but not Etrurian and Albanese, you can add Ottoman, Turkish, Aragonese, Sarrazin.
