it doesn't matter how much you weigh really. What matters is if u have fat hanging out. because you could weigh alot and it might not be fat it could be muscles or you are hydrated. So if you see fatness that you think is fat then you need to slim down alittle. If you need to slim down then don't diet they never work. You need a plan that you can stick to. E.g: always walk outside after lunch, have 5 servings of vegetables, etc

It depends on your bone size; small, medium, or large. I tell all of my patients, eat a well balanced diet, lots of fresh veggies , some fruit, & approx 3 oz of fish or meat per day. Only eat until you're full! I suggest using a smaller plate so it looks like you have more food on it.
Also, you must do some form of exersize 3-5 per week; 30 minutes is a good start for most people.Remember, you are not quite done growing yet, so do everything in moderation.---AND, speak w/ your Dr before beginning any new exersize or food program.
I don't consider " going on a diet" a proper term; I believe most people would either lose weight, maintain their present body weight, and/or become more healthly by moderate work-outs, eating a low fat, lower sugar, and nutritionally healthly meals. You don't want to skip meals, & an average wt loss is 2 lbs per wk, or 5-6 lbs per month.
I hope I've helped! Elaine RN :)

You're fine but it depends on your body frame: Go to this link:
http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htm
Also, frame matters a lot. I am 5'2 and have a very petite frame being asian, my ideal weight is 108 but I am way under since I am only 100lbs. I was worried, went to my doctor and she said that as long as I am healthy its fine. Also as long as you don't look anorexically skinny or obesely fat you're fine.
Weight is just a number, what matters is your healthy. If you are healthy you shouldn't worry about what the scale says. Plus some meat is always good and women do need body fat to have normal hormone regulation.
Also, you have to see % of fat, you could be perfect looking at 135 with tones muscles too!

Jeez, I hope you're not chubby, because up until a few months ago, those were my exact same dimensions, and I still wore a size 4! However, much like you, I thought I looked sort of fat, so I just started doing some Pilates exercises every day and cutting soda and lots of white bread out of my diet, and now I'm down to 120. I never was fat to begin with though, is my point, and neither are you.

No, that is a healthy weight - which is so refreshing to see. I don't think you need to slim down, but it's always good to exercise and eat healthy.
