rub it down with seasoning salt and pepper. put it either in a glass baking dish add enough water to cover bottom of pan, add 2 or 3 peeled potato's and a few carrots. cover with foil and bake for about 2 hours at 350. this should make it very tender and juicy or you can use a crock pot but this takes longer. if you don't want the veggies in it you can serve it with mashed potato's

Pork is kind of tricky. I recommend using tony cachare's creole butter injections. Given that you only have whats in your spice rack I would use things like garlic and oregano very strong spices. Also Italian dressing makes an excellent marinade. I would soak it in the dressing for an hr or so rub the other spices on the outside. Wrap it in tin foil. put it on the grill. How long you cook it is going to depend on how much it weighs but you can find a guide usually on the packaging the meat comes in. Half way through the cooking unwrap it and lay it directly on the grill . Pork should have a pink ring oun the outter edge and be white in the center like cooked chicken. The best advice I can give when cooking anything is to just go with it. Dont be afraid to add stuff just because it sounds good. You never know when you may creat a cullinary master piece

Slow cook BBQ is good with the other's spice suggestions. OOOO so good.
If you are cooking it in liquid on the stove, try apple juice/cider instead of water. Also cut apples and onions in quarters and cook with with the roast. Depending on how thick the roast is, cook it about 2-4 hours. One hour before the roast will being served, peal and quarter potatoes and put in the liquid. When the potatoes are done, take out all veggies and meat. Thicken the juices by mixing 2 tablespoons flour with 1/4 cup cold water. Bring the apple juice to a boil and slowly whisk in the past. Simmer/slow boil for about a minute. Slice the pork, top with gravy and serve. Yummmmmmmmm

here's a pork recipe that my family loves & it's so easy. i usually serve it with potatoes & carrots..
Spicy Pork Roast
1/2 t Pepper
1 t Red Chiles, Ground
2 lb Pork Loin Roast, Boneless
1 t Oregano Leaves; Dried
1 t Sugar
Mix sugar, ground red chiles, oregano and pepper and rub over the pork roast. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Place pork, fat side up, on rack in a shallow roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer so that the tip is in the thickest part of the pork and doesn't rest in the fat. Roast, uncovered, until thermometer registers 170 degrees. about 2 hours.
