Alcohol regularly causes gastritis and stomach ulcers. It also causes a number of problems due to its toxic effects on brain tissue. It can cause fitting quite early on if enough is consumed regularly. It also eventually leads to a specific type of dementia called Korsakoff's psychosis.

Alcohol will NOT cause epilepsy in itself. However, if you're already epileptic and are taking epilepsy medication, then it will lower the epileptic threshhold, which means you're more likely to have fits.
With regards to stomach ulcers, YES. Alcohol has an irritant effect on the stomach lining.
