I believe in the God of the Hebrews and Christians, because while I was a devoted and practicing Asatruar/Heathen worhsipping and praying to empty and silent idols, He revealed Himself in a supernatural way. He filled me with His Spirit and I came alive like never before. Practically in an instant, my life changed! That which I hated I, I now loved and I didn't even know what to do about it. I am forever changed by it. I know that the Messiah is the truth, the way, and the life! It is not about Religion, Church attendance on Sunday, young earth/old earth debates, Hanging out with Christians, or any other non-essential elements of so-called Christianity. It is all about HIM! Plain and simple.

Yes, I believe in god. I just don't believe in organized religion and all its rules. Now as to the why, I would be more than happy to explain it to you, just email me. My reasons only affect me and probably will not be helpful to you if you are still trying to decide for yourself.
Id say read and educate yourself on the different belief systems then choose the one that's right for you.

I believe in God.

1. Bible

2. Earth

3. Faith

4. I choose to

He has always been there for me, and will always be there, I believe in God and Jesus, and at the end of the day that is what matters not what people think of me for believing in Him. I only wish the could open their eyes and see the light, not their light.... The Light.... But this I can not force on them, only they can love God for themselves, I can't love Him for them

I once was lost, but now I'm found, was blind but now I see...

No

A host of reasons:
Too many gods to choose from, each one unlikelier than the next, my model for the universe does not require a supernatural/omnipotent/etc being, it is obvious that all holy books are nothing but origin myths, and since the start of recorded history there have been no further sightings of this god and/or his miracles. God(s) have been conspicuously missing since we have written history, and miracles happening has declined sharpy since we happen to have cameras everywhere. It seems god does not like photography.

No, I don't believe in an omnipotent creator being. It's illogical to me. Analytical study and examination of the Buddhist philosophy and the world around me is my "why".

I believe there is a God for the Christian but he is not my god. I believe in other Gods and Goddesses which suit me better. I feel more comfortable in my beliefs than I ever did in that of the Christian religion.

Are you speaking of the Christian God? No. Why? I've read the Bible, and that God doesn't stand up to common sense.

Nature's God? 50/50 chance.

I believe.. to many reasons why,AND the reason's given are always discounted by the people who don't believe-- so whats the point in answering this question? You will believe what you will believe regardless of what anyone says......
