Knowing right is not the same as doing right. Doing right is a lot harder. Knowledge and virtue together do make a powerful combination. I'd say he was on the right tracks.

Tough one. With both knowledge and virtue I believe a person will know what is right and will STRIVE to do what is right.

People are saying that the only way to know what is right is by reading the bible. But then who wrote it . People. If they can think then I suspect that some other of us can also. Plato knew what he was saying.

I think that's a tautology. Knowledge means to know, and virtue means to do what's right.
