Take it from an "out cast" guys the good guys donot pick and chooes when it comes to looks, they love people for they are,
on the other hand, girls, alway have a choice. they can pick and choes the guy they want, well not all the way. but guys have basicly no choice...

It's not all us guys care about, but it is the first and most universal thing that we care about. Men infinitely vary on what type of personality they like in a girl. Some like outgoing girls and some like reserved girls. Some like independent women and others like a woman who they can make into a housewife. But all men are attracted to a pretty face, nice t & a, curvy figure etc., and we notice those things before we even get a chance to know the personality. That's just the way things work. If you don't like it, take it up with God or natural selection, whichever sutis your fancy. And don't act like women don't judge guys based on looks.

I'm a guy and I don't only care about what a girl looks like. In fact, that's not really a factor. Yes, what a person looks like might first capture a person's eye, but it's personality that wins over the heart.
With me, I prefer personality. To me, personality determines a person's beauty because it's what's inside that counts. A person can be very attractive, but be very .. "ugly" inside because of their personality.

I think it goes way back, to when we looked for things like health to ensure our prospective mate was a good one. Then, attractiveness=health=good reproduction.
Think about it...girls like guys with guns, yes? Maybe that's because when you're looking for someone who can protect you, is healthy, and can go out and kill dinner, you wanted muscles.
It just passed on until today.

i thought that is what a girl goes for, a man is not as picky as a girl. guy needs a place, girls needs to complicate it and ask why and is this the right one and etc.

It's not. It usually factors into it, but personality and energy have a lot to do with attraction also.
Blame evolution...
