Save it.
For all you know, you might meet THE PERFECT guy who makes your heart fly, and he turns out to be a virgin himself. THEN how would you feel? A bit odd, no?
The good thing (at least with being a girl), is that guys don't mind either way. You're husband would either enjoy that you have experience, or enjoy that he's your first and only. It can be good either way.
At least if you decide to save it, you always have the option to lose it.
However, if you lose it, you can't undo what you did.

I'm wondering what makes you so unsure of yourself now that you're in high school.
For me, it doesn't make sense to wait until marriage before having sex, but I'll never throw a stone at anyone who wants to make that choice. I would honestly prefer a girl who is NOT a virgin, and who has some experience in relationships and physical contact. I'd like her to know what pleases her and that sometimes, sex is just sex.
It's a crude phrase, but would you buy a car that you haven't taken for a test drive? Sex, money, and children are the top three topics that couples fight about, so why would I want to marry someone that I'm not sexually compatible with?
That doesn't mean that I'm going to sleep with every girl I meet just to find out, but sex is a crucial component of every healthy relationship that I know. Contrary to what you might have heard, virginity has absolutely nothing to do with morals or innocence or values or respect. Virginity is about sex. That's it.
Why is it that I never hear guys asking this question, anyway? I'd like to know if girls would prefer a virgin or a non-virgin.

I'm 16, a sophomore, been dating a senior for a year now and am still a virgin. It doesn't matter about experience...like you have said you have always thought of saving it until marriage...you shouldn't change your values...If you do make sure it's someone you love because you will regret it to waste it on someone that's just going to break your heart. Make sure you love him too, don't just get caught up in him. But if your value was to wait then I would keep that, don't let any guys on here say that they like a girl with more experience because usually that's not true you know, they are just being guys!

Noone can decide the answer to that question but you. It doesn't matter what "guys prefer", your virginity is important and how and when you lose it is your choice. Im in high school too and im surrounded by people who lost their virginity for the sake of popularity. But hunni to tell you the truth there are more virgins than you think out there and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Im not saying wait til marriage, im saying just don't screw some random guy. You're probably much too good for that. Your first time needs to be special.

Well it may sound silly , but you should be proud to be a virgin and waitin for marriage is something pretty much non existenant today.
You shouldnt even worry or consider if a guy would prefer to marry someone with exp.
Hard as it may be o believe and though many say otherwise there are guyd out there that will respect your desicion to remain a virgin.

A guy friend of mine explained an old saying I would like to share with you. There are two types of girls out there the ones you date, have fun with but don't take home to mom.
The second is the girl you marry and bring around your family.
Pick which one you want to be.

Guys are different, but if you are with a mature , understand real guy he will love you with experience so both of you can share the special time together without it being too new to you.

Technically, you're supposed to only "be rid of your virginity" when you are married. With the person you married of course. Don't do it know. Wait. It can ruin your life if you do now.
