There is no blood, but he is limping. I don't know what happened to him but I am sure he's going to be okay.

Call the vet, and ask if you should bring him or not, I freaked out one day when it happened to my cat and he just sprained it and the vets gave me a prescription for him, and told me what I could do over the phone, and if you don't want to call them wait and see if it get's better! Good luck, and I'm sure your cat's fine! Hope I helped!

Is he putting any weight on it or is he yowling in pain? A fracture- he would be doing more than just limping- those hurt.

If he is just limping, he probably sprained or pulled a muscle. Unless you want to go to the vet for a definate diagnosis, just keep him in a confined area (unless he is being good and not walking around as much himself). Try to decrease the distance he has to walk to the litterbox and food. After a little rest, he should be ok.

He may have landed wrong or someone may have stepped on him and I'm sure he'll be fine give him a couple of days if he's still limping i would take him to the vet to get some x-rays.

All of the above answers are GREAT, but also check the bottom of his paw. He could have got something stuck in his paw and it hurts to bad to walk on it. Let him take the night to rest if it doesn't seem like an emergency to you. If he's not any better in the morning bring him to the vet and get it checked out. BUT if it seems REALLY BAD.. bring him tonight you can never be too sure about these things.

Take your cat to the vet. Animals have evolved to do their best to hide the full extent of illness and injury, so the fact that you can tell that he's limping indicates a serious problem.

Please do take the poor little guy to the vet. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, too!!

Get him checked by a vet. It might not be major, but it is better to be safe than sorry

take him to the vet and get the leg examined/x-rayed, and then have it treated accordingly - or he may never be able to walk properly again
