can you buy dvd+RW discs that are longer than 2 hours for films?

Standard single layer DVDs (+or-R or +or-RW) can be recorded in two, four or six hour modes. The longer the time the more the quality degrades.

the dvd copying software u have should shrink the film down 2 fit the size of the disc,but u can get 8gb dvd discs,but the 4.7gb will do,u just need 2 shrink the film down,nero 7 does that,and other dvd copying software does 2

Well you have to set either your computer program or your DVD recorder into a different video quality for during the recording, it usually doesnt make that much difference anyway.
