Ok.. someone said to ask a mormon, so here's what this mormon thinks. ;)

I do believe there is a heavenly mother. She isn't mentioned because God wanted to keep her protected and not have her name drug through the mud like His is. Think about it, if you had a wife, and your name was always being used as a cuss word, would you want people to know the name of your wife, to do the same for her? I know I wouldn't want that.

I do think She helped create our spirit, and I think that God got insight from Her about the best way to set things up. They work as a partnership, along with Christ and the Holy Spirit.

I do think that we had family in heaven. I think we may have even chosen what family we wanted to go to. I do believe that we knew our families before and that we will know them after we die. We are all spirit brothers and sisters, we were all made by the same God, so that would make us children of God, and in so doing, it would make us all family. To me, it makes sense.

But I don't think that's for us to worry about. I think we need to worry about our own lives and not about anything like this.

The relationship between Father and Son is not a literal physical begetting, which would ina mother as well. It is a metaphorical way of describing a relationship, saying that the way these two relate to each other is like the way a parent relates to a child. The position of Mary in the story is as the physical mother of Jesus, when he came into the world as a human baby. But relationship between Father and Son existed from all eternity.

The son of God had a mother. He needed to be human to pay for the sin of man, and God because God himself is our savior.

God said,"my thoughts are not your thoughts; my ways are not your ways!" The way things are handled in the spiritual cannot explain in the natural and when people try to bring God down to their levels, it turns understnding Him and having fatih a confusing and frustrating endeavor. Have faith that God is in control and just have fatih in His word!

Mary was the mother of Jesus but she was only a woman used by God. she was asked by the angel if she would accept the child and agreed it was not forced on her.

Well... I like your point, that there is no honor in christianity for the mother of a god....

Shouldn't he have married her if she was gonna be the mother of god, or god's son?

I mean, isn't that the reason christians tout marriage....
