Check the police report about your wreck. It should have the name of the person. If not it should have the tag number which you could run in the DMV database and find who the car is registered to. Good luck with finding out what insurance company that she has. I'd turn over the name and tag number to your insurance company and let them handle it. Good luck.

WASN'T THERE A POLICE REPORT WRITTEN OUT ? If so .... and it invloves your car ... you should be able to get a copy at the police station. On the report is normally a code ... it tells what insurance company she may have had. Your insurance agent should be willing to help by looking up that code .... and contacting her insurance company.

If there were ambulances involved, there should have been a police officer on the scene of the accident, right? And he should have given you his name and badge number. Call up the police and ask for him. He should be able to help you with this.

Obtain a copy of the police report and take it to your insurance agent.

Don't think you can. Call the cops. It is their responsibility.
