i like to know that wheather the "version = 6.0.6000 build 6000 (retail) is the final release version of vista ? or it is a older version ? if it is older then which is the latest and final version of windows vista ultimate ? can any clear my doubt please...

FYI - the FINAL version will be the one - just before the replacement for Vista is sold and marketed - LOL

the good news is that you will always be able to go to their website and download any upgrades - which changes the version

Are you kidding? Vista has a lot of work to do. It has many problems and many service packs will come out.
