a few years ago, i became a chronic "picker" "squeezer" & "popper." i discovered if i squeezed my chin, nose and other random spots on my face, i could get junk to come out. so ever since, the spots are getting worse and worse, filling up more quickly and are actually noticeble if i don't squeeze them!! and it's made my face look gross! are there any products i can use to clean out those pores without squeezing, and even maybe shrink my pores back to normal?

Yes you should never pick your face it leaves permanent scars. You should try putting Aloe Vera on your face to help heal the scars.

Can you go see a dermatologist? If you could, that would be a good idea.

I''m guessing that you have oily skin. One odd thing about oily skin is that the more you try to dry it out,the more oil is produced. Wash your face with a gentle soap like Dove. Use a moisturizer with sun screen in it. Wal Mart has a house brand which is under $5, so it isn't expensive.

Try not to squeeze anything. If you feel like an area is putting pressure and you must relieve the pressure, wipe the area with rubbing alcohol and gently press at the sides. Put alcohol on a cotton ball and dab the spot. You don't want to use alcohol on your face for any other reason.

Over time, your skin should get better. The gentle soap and mositurizer with sun screen will prevent any further damage. If it doesn't clear up you may need to see a Dr. and take a low dosage of tetracycline in order to clear up the inflammation.

Have you figured out why you started squeezing in the first place? A lot of kids do that when they're unhappy and frustrated. If you have an urge to do this, you need to have a plan for other things you can go do to take your mind off of it. Good luck.

Never put your hands in your face. Treat yourself to a Beverly Hills, Culver City facial they have tools that will not leave scares, etc. They also analysis your skin. I had a serious problem with bolds that left the spots, etc. Clean & Clear products work for sensitive skin. It will take time unless u have the money for a make over. When u wash your face use ice water to close the pores. Use a mud mask too.
You skin will heal itself. If u have stress in your life can cause this and bad eating habits. Drink enough water too. Beauty is only skin deep. If u do not like the way u look buy some make-up or press powder that goes with your skin tone until it clears up. Be comfortable in your own skin too. Also Mederma works for scars read directions and save receipts.

Unfortunately, "shrinking" pores is not as easy as TV and magazines would have you believe. At this point, your best bet is to go to a professional and get a facial, or talk to a dermatologist. Facials may be expensive, but if you go to a good salon, you should be able to talk to them about your problems. Dermatologists can also prescribe medication to clear your pores and perform extractions--something that should NEVER be done at home unless you come across acne that is painful (under which circumstances you should swab the area with alcohol, wrap your fingers in a tissue, and apply pressure with the pads of your fingers--never the nails). You should quit the popping--go to your local pharmacy and look at the blackhead strips (less effective than they claim) and astringents. At this point, however, you really should talk to a dermatologist.

There is a soap that is helping me with my spots called Cyclic. It has nano-Silver in it and it is clearing them up without feeling really dry. The Silver is a natural topical antibiotic. Try looking for it. Use it once a day in the evening to start at night. Use another gentle cleanser for morning before you put on makeup. Also, look for a mild toner to help minimize your pores.

It may take a while to reprogram your behavior as well. I used to do the same thing when I was stressed. Now I have found other constructive things to do with my hands to change the behavior.

Good luck.

When you squeeze you spread bacteria. Not only the bacteria that is causing the zit but the bacteria from off your hands. When the bacteria spread it just causes your face to inflame even more. I would suggest getting pro-active. Don't touch your face anymore! Don't look in the mirror or in anything else that you can see your reflection in unless you are washing your face. If you use regular acne cream use it and don't touch your face for two weeks< it usually takes that long for zits to clear up with treatment. You should see some results by then. and by the way QUIT TOUCHING YOUR FACE! Good Luck!

First off try to stop!
Secondly find a regime you like and stick to it. It should include hydrating wash, toner, and day/night cream and a face serum - to help with the scars.
A mask once a week
and a nice exfoliating system.

I suggest Arbonne because of their all natural ingredients-
A friend of mine had chicken pox as an adult and the before/after of her face is great.

Whatever you do, don't use a cream with mineral oil it will harden your skin!!

i think of you may ought to get a miles better razor and/or be somewhat greater careful along with your shaving. you're precise to do it when you get out of the bathe so the hair would be softer. Get a sturdy lather outfitted up with a sturdy shaving gel, and with a beneficial new razor, take sluggish, short strokes for the time of your dermis. in ordinary terms bypass as quickly as over each and each piece and be careful! to respond to your question, confident that's oftentimes to sometimes cut back your self shaving - even although its no longer that in the time of many cases while you're doing it precise. and you need to no longer get any everlasting harm till the cuts are fairly deep and scar tissue varieties.

Don't worry that happened to me and I used Neutrogena. It's sooo awesome!! All the products are good, but my favorite one is the Oil Free Acne Stress Control Power Foam Wash. Good Luck!

P.S. Plz keep you hair off your face, hair has oil and the oil gets on your skin, and your skin absorbes it, and that's another way girls get pimples.
