I say kick the s@#! out of them so they run away instead of barking at you. Ok joking aside, they are small dogs and your size along with the smell of your dog scares them. Ask your girlfriend if she can let you come over to feed them. Also when you put your hand out to pet them, stop thinking about how easy it would be to punt them fifty yards.

See if you can get your girlfriend to take the more dominant one away, as in put that one in another room for a while. Bring some liver or cut up chicken or meat and offer it by hand to the one that is out with you. Than sit on the floor, if that does not help lay down on the floor belly up. Let the Chihuahua smell you, speak in a soft calm voice. Keep offering food, show no fear but keep thinking and reacting as though the dog is cute. Dogs do understand body language. If you are good at this than you can try the next one.Keep it up and they will be kissing you more than your girlfriend. (She might get jealous)

All dogs are the same, they tend to be more 1 person . These dogs know you, but they are also protecting your girl friend. Spend some time with these dogs, feed them at times and play with them, they'll warm up to you soon.
And the barking, thats something you both need to work on, such as saying loudly, shhhhhhhh, or NO .

try talking to them like you would a baby. Or maybe they are protective of your girlfriend. My puppy barks at my friends and my sisters friends and like everyone else besides us and people that she knows. She is so loyal. I think that is why the Chiuauas are barking at you

I would pick the dog up and let it know your friendly. Bring it a treat and cuddle it. It will know your there to be nice and aren't threatening their owner.Have your gf pick up the chiuaua and hand it to you so the dog knows she like you.

they probably just don't like you. lol.
dogs can be very territorial, so when you come over and are all over your gf, they don't like it.
i don't think there's anything you can do about it. it seems like they've made up their mind.
maybe you can try feeding them.
