She turned one at the begging of this month and I was thinking about trying for this summer(maybe around august) I heard girls potty train faster. What do yall think?

I started potty training all my girls when they first started walking really well. It only took about 1 month with the oldest. It took around to months with the next, and I have yet to start with the younger two (twins). I'm sure this will be fun. I say get her a potty now. Whats the worse that can happen, she wont sit on it. But just think, you could be "TRAINING" her to go potty. If she is in daycare, that could cut you price too.

I have 3 girls.....Two of them were potty trained just around their second birthday(one a couple of weeks after one a couple of weeks before) and all the doctors were amazed that they were so young. I also have a 2 1/2 year old(she's my youngest) and she still really has no interest except for every once in awhile. So do not be surprised if it is not done this summer.

My daughter started potty training herself when she was 1 1/2 .They say its wise to start potty training when they show an interest in the big potty and start to mimic what they say others do on the potty.
If they don't do those things they suggest potty training between the ages of 2&3.
Hope That Helps,

each and each baby is diverse! you won't have the capacity to place an age cut back on something! the two my young infants have been 2 while they ultimately have been given potty knowledgeable. yet my daughter became in ordinary terms some months shy of three. The greater I pushed her to apply the potty the greater severe she would do. yet while she ultimately have been given it in HER innovations, hiya I wanna be a large woman, then she did it over nighttime! and he or she hasn't even hardly had any injuries, by way of fact she became waiting!

we just potty-trained our little girl. She is perfect after only a month...no accidents at all these days and sleeps through the night with no diaper and no wet bed. She turned 2 years old last December. We didn't use any type of 'pull-up' diapers...just underwear. She quit diapers 'cold turkey'.

Girls I find are easier, but I didn't start training until they had dry diapers in the morning. If they can stay dry at night then they can learn to stay dry during the day. My daughter was 18 months and son was 27 months old.

We started potty training when my little girl started walking. She was fully trained between 18months and 24 months.

girls are so much easier to train than boys, my daughter was potty trained at 1 year, she will do it quick....do it now and since it is warmer it will be easier aswell, they wear less

I think it is too young but it depends on the child. My oldest was 2 1/2 and my youngest was older but she has bladder problems.
