1st loves are the the hardest to get over but it will happen you just need to give it some time.
You say you are a good guy then know that you deserve better than a girl that will cheat on you.

I don't think anyone ever really forgets first loves.
The pain will go away, and the way you view the relationship you once had and how you choose to remember her will change. Eventually your past relationship will become more of a learning opportunity on what to do and not to do in future relationships.
Now that your dating its a good time to try and put the past behind you and one way of doing that would be to stop checking her away messages.

Yes you will get over her and eventually move on. Two years is a really long time but if you went to all the trouble as changing your number to help you get over her maybe you should stop looking at her away messages. that will only keep you thinking about her. Cheer up you will find a girl that is perfect for you and be really happy.

Here's a simple tip, you are not in pain, just hurt. If you allow your heart to feel, then you are a good guy. A friend sent me this message yesterday, which made sense, so I will tell it to you.
A cat was walking near a railroad, a trail came whizing by and cut part of his tail off, so he turned to she what happened, then the train cut his head off, the moral of the story is...."Don't loose your head over a piece of tail".
It may hurt, but it will go away soon enough.
Get the book from the link on here I attached, it will help you make better choices in women.

Allow yourself to feel sad ..vent it out..denying it will only make it worse..
There are people who think the same just like you about their first love ..so don't feel alone...
First things first if you have ANYTHING that would even remotely reminds you of her I would destroy it or get rid of it...
Then look around for some new distractions like a new girl or a new friend...someone who can relate to you..
Think of it this way while your at it...
She did not think of anything of your heart when she cheated on you...her heart is too weak..does she even deserve to be in your life?...I feel sorry for the guy she is with.
You sound like a dying breed dude I salute ya..and best of luck...
Let yourself vent let yourself be sad..and then you can move on ..It would not be fair for the next girl if you still have a partial heart for the cheater

awwww, first loves are hard to get over, you never really get over em' i don't think, you just sort of learn to cope with it after time passes, glad to hear you're dating, just remember that you're better off with a girl who will be good to you, im sorry to hear she cheated on you, happened to me too, but good things come to those who wait, and so do good girls, its only natural that you feel the way you do, but you'll soon be above all that, just dont be so closed to the girls you date now because you never know which one might actually be the one, or what not, ya know? good luck babe, hope you feel better and its okay to admit your a good guy =) you seem like one

Many of us have gone through what you are going through. Yes you will get past this, however you must not bring in your old relationship junk into this new relationship. Most women do not want to listen to how you "Got done wrong". Give this young lady a sincere chance, get to know her slowly.

will you ever forget it her. doubtful. will the pain go away. eventually. when you have been with someone for so long and you have experienced so many firsts with them and you loved them you wont ever forget them. but eventually with time it will get easier and even though you wont forget her you will be able to live with it and move on.

You will, absolutely. You can speed up the process by telling yourself you are over her, definitively. Then move on and stop checking up on her. Once you decide to be over her, you will be.
