half hour of cardio / fat burning 5 days a week. Walking is good because it also builds muscles and the more muscles you have the more calories you burn-- even when you're resting!
I would also do core building exercises to strengthen and tone abs and back... good luck

Katie k, you cannot spot reduce. That machine will do nothing to decrease the amount of bodyfat around your stomach. You lose belly fat by decreasing your overall bodyfat, and the only way to do that is cardio. As for the original question, there is no fast "healthy" way to lose fat. Start eating better and exercise. You can go on a fad diet, but I assure you, once your wedding is over and you go back to your typical diet, all the weight you lost will come right back. The only way to lose and keep weight off is a complete lifestyle change that lasts the rest of your life.

The best way is to lose weight all over. Since you have little time you need to step up the cardio fast.

I hate running, so I play tennis. Take tennis lessons and play for at least 2 hours a day four days a week. I lost 15lbs in 2 months and that makes a real difference.

At the same time. Cut out late dinners. Eat before 6PM and try to eat something with set portions to avoid overeating. I find that Lean Cuisine Hearty portions is just right so that I am not hungry.

Oatmeal for breakfast; Have a big lunch but no fried foods!

BTW: Look at Junior Colleges for really cheap tennis classes!

While exercise machine are all good and well, what you want lose is that layer of fat of your abs. Machines will strengthen abs [they usually a waste] but not remove the fat so quickly. You need to change your diet. Rather than eat large portions of food once or twice a day, the research has shown that the best way is to eat small meals 8 times a day. And one thing that people don't believe in but is necessary is protein. People like to associate protein with gaining muscle but its necessary to lose fat. A certain amount of protein is necessary with every meal otherwise your intake turns to fat. Food does 2 things when it turns to energy: goes to your muscles or is stored as fat [and fat is the hardest to lose]. Just look at any extreme diet girl who says she just eats veggies & doesn't get protein. They may be very skinny but they also have flabby skin because of the fat deposits. Diet is your best bet to start. But if you're talking two months you want exercise. Best exercise for abs is running. Other than that, I couldn't show you here so you'll have to look into different ab workouts other than the norms [sit ups] which alone don't target the lower abs where you're fat likes to gather up and the muscle growth could push out your stomach making it look worse. As for wait lose in general, the best fat burner I've ever used [and I'ved tried them all] is StimulantX. Look it up, it gives you amazing energy and suppresses hunger more than anything I've known. I would seriously by it for you if I could, it's just so cool that you're putting in the dedication for your fiancee. I'd steer away from investing in some kind of ab machine better to get a gym membership, diet well, and always drink water. You seem to have the drive necessary to get you a flat tummy. you can get it at canadian tire, sears, walmart, zellers or the bay. it works great because it only burns in the lower stomach which is what we all want also try eating more heathy as well.
