15 A quarrelsome christian is like
a constant dripping on a rainy day;

i mean it does make a lot of sense when u think about it.

Proverbs, having been written before Jesus came along, would not refer to Christians. The verse you cite actually compares the constant dripping on a rainy day to complaining women, if memory serves me well.

I think that is "wife or contentious woman."
A true christian is not like constant dripping on a rainy day b/c a true christian will know according to --> Matthew 10:14:
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

No there were no christians at the time proverbs were ritten it may have said a nagging wife.
