Animals have estrus. the version in the two is that a era in a woman is a cleansing of the uterus to flush unfertilized eggs and uterine lining. Estrus in animals is whilst they are fertile and able to reproduce. canines bleed in this time-their "warmth" cycle. Cats produce a fluid yet unlike canines. If an animal completes estrus devoid of fertilization, the egg(s) are reabsorbed into the physique particularly of being flushed out.

Yes female dogs do go into heat but you can prevent that. When I adopted my dog, I had to get her fixed. I asked if that would be bad but according to several vets they said that everything will be okay. So if you dont want to deal with that then get your female dog spayed.

At about 6 months to a year old they will start having heat cycles.
They will have one about every six months some go longer in bewtween them up to eight months.
They will bleed for about three weeks each time.
It is messy and inconvient and it lasts three weeks each time.
If you are not going to show and breed the dog have her spayed.
It is better for heath. It will lower her risk of cancer.
