i want to lose a fai bit of wieght is the best way just the exercise it off eat a lot of fruit way or is there a btter way?

No better way!

less in more out, its the only way.

Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg. Around 1,500 calories.

Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?

No special diet,no herbal/dangerous/illegal drugs will fix it for you in 10 minutes without the need for you to get off the couch

First off, you need to see your doctor before you begin to exercise or change your diet in a dramatic way.
The best way to lose weight is to not diet! To lose weight and keep it off, exercise regularly with a mix of cardio and strength exercises, and combine it with well balanced meals. Many programs encourage eating at least six mini meals a day to keep your body's energy levels high enough to maintain increased levels of activity. Just divide your breakfast, lunch, and dinner into equally spaced times. It is also recommended to give yourself at least a day between strength exercises. 30 minutes a day of either cardio or strength is a good way to start off. And do not be startled if you find yourself eating more. That is okay. Eventually you will find a balance that will fit you comfortably. Finally, make sure to rest at least one day a week with no exercise. (This plan may take a while, but when the weight comes off, it stays off!)

I recently joined a Weight Watchers meeting and have lost over 8 pounds in just 2 weeks and have already gone down almost a dress size.
I get to eat and never go hungry but also have a more healthy diet and have people around to ask for advice.

The ONLY effective way to lose weight is to eat LESS calories than what you BURN. Research what your metabolic rate is for your height on google.co.uk. Then eat NO MORE than that number of calories every day. You will then lose weight at a healthy, consistant rate. If you exercise, this WILL help, although I understand it's a chore.

Being a skater I have to watch my weight constantly...

i find the best way to loose weight is to keep your carbs and your protiens seperate...

for instance, pick what you want to eat on a day and stick to it...

if you fancy eating a jacket potato... have one, but have it with something like beans and cheese, or salad, or egg mayo or coleslaw... (you get my point lol)

if you choose a day that your going to eat carbs, don't eat meat for that entire day... (your body can't break down carbs and protiens very well at the same time)

if you choose to eat protien... have a plate full of meat if you like, a full english breakfast (grilled not fried) but subsitute beans for tomatoes.... stay away from any carbs on a day you choose to eat protiens

you can eat any amount of vegetables at all, (stay away from peas and sweetcorn on protien days)

this way, you loose weight and you can eat exactly what you want, you can even eat a bar of chocolate every now and then!!

fruit is great for you and i also recommend drinking loads of water...

i'd put money down that if you follow this way of eating you'll loose at least a stone in the first month, trust me, this is the diet i live by when i have to fit into skin tight dresses lol

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

I have been on a Low carb diet the last two weeks....Low Carb not NO Carb...And I just have not eaten any Crap or munching while I am cooking and Really my cloths are getting loose after 2 weeks..Oh, Fruit is Good for you but has Lots of natural Sugar and you should limit it and stick to Lean Meats and Vegs...Cut out Breads as much as you can or any thing Starchy and drink Alcohol Very sparingly...But do not Deprive your self or you will not do well on a Low Carb Diet...........Think Lean Meats and Fresh Vegs.............Have eggs and cheese for breakfast and It will stick with you...

its the little things that make a difference.exercise is good,have smaller meals.stay off the crisps,biscuits,etc..,dont put spread on yer bread,forget fizzy drinks,even diet coke,treat yerself once a week to a couple of biccies or something but keep it light.i lost loads of weight like this.
