It is a common thing encountered by all smart, well-organized and strong woman. Men ARE scared of them!!! There is no way around it and you (the woman) have to be the one to make the first move. Now, since it is at the job place, he might not be scared of you, but just doesn't want something cos of all the laws for sexual harassment. I would ask him for a drink after work and see where that gets you...hope this helped!

r u sure that he likes u or ur assuming he does becuz he flirts? flirting is a game that anyone plays, some times its 4 fun, sum times its 2 test the waters , to prove a point or test skills so don't be fooled. I personally believe that men should chaste women, if he likes u let him go after u and dont be over excited about it..work relationships can cause prob esp he supervises u, u can both end up in a professionally compromising situation and if it doesn't work out you won't be comfortable @ work afterall. i don't think he's intimidated by you afterall he supervises you, i think he's takin u on a wild goose chase and @ the same time protecting his job and integrity. it seems he has it all figured out, now do u?

Workplace Relationship are very dangerous. He's not intimidated. I think he's just being careful. It's hard having a relationship with someone you work with because you can't help but to have a personal relationship as well. Everything changes and sometimes backfire.

In my experience, smart and attractive women can put a man off if he has even the slightest insecurity. Maybe he thinks you wouldn't be interested in him...perhaps a little eye contact or subtle flirting on your part could help ease him and let him know you are interested...... although the saying "Never sh*t where you eat" comes to mind so think carefully before starting an office romance.

I don't think being a secretary is that intimidating of a job. It is very possible he knows you are attracted to him and he is just not interested in you.
Bosses aren't supposed to date their employees anyway.

I suppose he would like to keep his job by not causing any problems with you if something indeed might be happening between you guys.
