I was in a car accident Feb. '06, which was not my fault. My back and neck have been hurting me really bad ever since. I got a lawyer, and a few weeks ago I recieved a settlement offer that was $59.11 net. Since I am in so much pain, I was wondering if I could get more money, for pain and suffering. My medical bills total about $12,000. Thanks

Since you have hired an attorney to represent you, please ask the attorney and not us.

A declare can also be reopened while knowledge that wasn't identified by means of you comes into play. As a ways as two of your scientific costs being in assortment, you'll be able to name the gathering companies and provide an explanation for to them your costs are the effect of a automobile twist of fate to be paid by means of the coverage manufacturer. Tell them to ship the costs again to the creditor. You get your reproduction of the costs and reward them to the coverage manufacturer and ask them why they weren't paid. If they're regarding your twist of fate, then the scientific insurance plan at the protection is meant to maintain them.

Specifically what is the $59.11 for? Property damage? Injury? If it's for your injury you most likely signed a release and if you did you're done. Your injury claim is over.

you waived your right to ask this question when you got an attorney- now the car insurance cant tell you anythign. Not to mention it looks like any "pain and suffering" money is getting eaten up by attorney fees. bet your regretting that attorney now huh?

Isn't that a question you should be asking your attorney?

After all, he knows law, and knows far more about your case than you can tell us. He'd be in a much better position in advising you regarding your chances of more $$$.
