I was looking into this type of curriculum. Wondering what others that have gone this route thought about it. Trying to teach different grade levels at the same time, how did that go?

I've never used Weaver Curriculum. I have, however, used
"Sit by Me" (a Canadian unit study for younger children) and "Five in a Row" (which also has unit studies for older children). I found unit studies a good way to teach multi-level grades. I also liked having a variety of activities to choose from instead of having to think them up myself. I've heard "Farther Up and Farther In" (I think that's what it's called - it's a unit study based on the Chronicles of Narnia series) is good as well. With all unit studies, you'll probably have to have a separate math program and some supplemental language arts.
