As far as the main western religions, it's mostly the "Islamic Extremists." They actually obey the laws in the bible (both old and new testament) about killing women who are shamed by rape, death penalty for blasphemy, destruction of infidels (men, women and children), and so on. They of course also follow the commands in the Quran to a tee, which is a major cause for their suicide bombings.

However, religious leaders for Buddhism, Toaism, Hinduism, Jainism, and others do tend to live by their religion to a significant extent. It's mostly the western religions (the most brutal and evil ones) where people don't believe much.

Religion in this present world is a business. It is a chief arm of despotic control of any form of government or wherever masses of people are controlled to a desirec end. This doesn't discount the fact that there is a higher power. It only serves to reinforce the fact that the faithful are few, that the outward system of religiosity is rejected by that higher power, and that the earthly powers are likewise rejected and morally bankrupt, to put it minimally.

As there are no reliable surveys on this, you're just asking for our opinion.

My guess would be somewhere in the vicinity of 2 to 5%. And that would be those who "practice what they preach". A literal review of the bible would clearly not allow ANY modern religious people to live by those rules.

From what I've been able to study, the group who'se leaders follow their own words the LEAST are televangelists. I'd say most of them have been in trouble with the law for drugs, or in trouble with their church for being with other women or with children (or even men), or have stolen their parishoners money and bought big houses and limos...hey, even Pat Robertson is being sued by his attorneys for not paying their bill.

Interesting question. Let's present this as an example: If you read the Bible, (The New Testament.) you'd see that in it, Jesus says (MORE THAN ONCE) that in order to get into Heaven, you need to sell EVERYTHING you own and give to the poor. He says it MORE than once, and no, He's not kidding. It's not something that's open for interpretation, either. He's very clear about it.
Now...how many preachers, pastors, or priests do you know that actually TELL their congregation that they need to do this? Understand that THESE are the people that are supposed to be responsible for giving you the instruction that you need to SAVE YOUR SOUL! These are the people that are supposed to be giving you the VERY WORD OF GOD HIMSELF. I live in a very wealthy town. (Majority of people that live here are millionaires.) I don't know ONE priest, preacher, or pastor that is going to tell his millionaire congregants that they need to sell EVERYTHING they own and give it to the poor. I don't know one of them who is willing to sit down with one of these rich men and tell them that they're concerned for their soul, because Jesus Himself said that a rich man has no better chance of getting into Heaven than a camel has to pass through the eye of a needle.
Don't you think that they're are completely shirking their responsibility to not pass on this information? They are, but it's not something that's going to change, because it's not CONVENIENT for people to sell everything they own and give it to the poor. No Christian is going to pay attention to that, (even though it is the word of what they supposedly believe is GOD HIMSELF) telling them to do it. Even the most die-hard, Bible-thumping, fundamentalist Christians ignore that little bit of instruction. It makes me question whether or not they REALLY believe that Jesus is the incarnated God, because if they REALLY believed it...REALLY believed that He was GOD...wouldn't they be falling over themselves trying to follow every instruction He gives to the letter?
