Interesting AND important, ay?
Upon importance; The basic understanding that God doesn't lie. He is trustworthy, and keeps His promises.
Upon interesting. There are many things. God's word in stone-- the Great Pyramid, God's message in the stars, prophecy, the everyday occurance of miracle-- wspecially the one that allows a Chistian to weigh the word in spirit and truth.
All that shows that God is very active. For the Christian God is known to have His hand on history and the future. He promised what would happen in the future, and is proven true by the way He does this from the past.

Blind Faith. With all of the mis-translations of the written word by various religious sects is amazing. Contradictions in things such as Judas. What was Noah running from. Mary Magdalen wife or harlot? The Methodist Church-Bring a covered dish get into heaven. Catholic-pray to this idol these beads and call the minister Father. Who knows. I just exist as a Quaker. Just one of those existing with Blind Faith without much substance. Yes, I believe it is important to have faith. Born again Christians. Have you ever heard of such nonsense? There are things taken too far. We overuse the terms.... Awesome, Massive, War on, and Born again etc.

It will be different for each individual, but for me it is exciting to know that there is true miracle working power that backs my actions. I have prayed for a child whose skin was being eaten off and was given a 60% 40% chance the greater for death. The day after I prayed his skin was 100% restored. The Dr. didn't have any explanation how skin could grow back so fast. I was with some elders who prayed for a child blind from birth, whose eyes were visably disformed, and God changed the eyes right in front of us and healed the child's blindness. Just so many wonderful miracles have taken place since I have known and walked with the true God of Heaven and Earth. This to me is very exciting.

For me there is allot. But I appreciate how God handled the rebellion in the Universe. By giving time for us to show whether we love God or not, and time for Satan's rulership, and imperfect human rulership,... to show the consequences of them.
I'm sure we are aware that the judgment of them is to remove them as they are very deficient. Daniel 2:44.
Then, the Kingdom of God will prevail on earth and only God's will will be done, so the earth will become a Paradise, with Jesus as King, later handing over all to God.
As Jesus said at the last passover, that the ones who stick with him, the chosen ones, as oart iof the 'New Heavens'will sit on thrones and judge the 12 tribes of Israel.
We should appreciate that God is love, after all the giving he has done for us.

you have a shiny mind's eye and little admire for the reality. i will by no capacity be able to forgive Christianity for its historical evil acts -- no longer the least of which exchange into stifling humanity's psychological progression via burning limitless heretics on the stake. Then there is the subjugation of girls human beings, the legitimization of slavery, and sanctioning the "Divine actual" of thousands of tyrants. ...and the KKK, the Scopes Trial, evolution-denying Fundamentalism, and the Republican social gathering... little question it, Christianity has little or no to furnish people who savour the training of history.

For me, the concept of God providing a way for mankind to be reconciled with him. Granted, there is much debate on what that way is. Some would say "believing in Jesus". Others would say "believe in Jesus and be baptized" while yet others would say "confessing Jesus before men". Not to sound flippant, but I like the bathtub model...Jesus is the drain, God is in the pipes, we are the water. Sin closed the drain and seperated us from God. Jesus' death on the cross opened the drain, providing a way for man to return to God. All people...not just the elitist Jesus' fan club. Blessings in the Light of Christ!

Christianity is unique in its total reliance and total rejection of another religions sacred text.
Christianity has it roots in Judaism, but rejects the rules and doctrine set forth in the Old Testament.
Very interesting.

Having been raised Catholic, I really like the ritual aspects and the mystery. I get the same thing in Buddhism without the thickly layered guilt. However, I did get to meet some amazing priests.

That people who say they don't believe it continue to talk about it like the guy that first answered this question. They seem all so interested.......
Let me rephrase that....look at all the people who are against Christianity above and below me yet take the time out of their day to answer this question and likely others like it. Sounds like classic cases of "searching" for God. Good luck guys, hope you find him,

I think from the bible we can understand God and Jesus and what happened and why Jesus had to come here, but then after you believe, having the Holy Spirit make it all make sense to you is quite phenominal. I think it is really interesting.
